This proposal reimagines Dubai Safari by introducing a new South America Biomes zone: an immersive ecological landscape inspired by the Amazon rainforest, the Andes, tropical river systems, wetlands, and highland habitats. Instead of viewing the zoo as a series of isolated enclosures, the project envisions a continuous journey through layered biomes, elevated walkways, water bodies, animal habitats, shaded terraces, and architectural landmarks.
The design merges Dubai’s ambition for iconic destination architecture with the environmental richness of South America. Exposed concrete landforms, deconstructed mountain-like structures, artificial waterfalls, dense tropical planting, suspended bridges, shaded paths, and water-based viewing experiences craft a spatial narrative where architecture is integrated into the habitat, enhancing the ecological storytelling aspect of the experience.
The project strives to create a more memorable, educational, and emotionally engaging visitor experience — positioning Dubai Safari not just as a wildlife park, but as a global destination for ecological storytelling, architecture, and immersive landscape design.
